ROBERT J BAKER - Managing Attorney
Robert J. Baker was born in 1962, in the southern heat of Virginia. After graduating high school, he chose to serve our country by joining the United States Army. As a veteran, Robert used his discipline to fight his way through Western Michigan University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting in 1994. Thomas M. Cooley Law School awarded him a Juris Doctorate in 1997.
Originally entering the business world successfully, by turning around the business operations of Frontier Technologies, Inc., Robert decided that opening his own law firm was his destiny.
Driven by a desire to succeed on his own merit, Robert forged ahead and built R.J. Baker & Associates, PLLC into a respectably leading law practice, with a positive winning streak.

Stephen Vargo, a bright young attorney, graduated with Honors from Grand Valley State University in 2009 and Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Grand Rapids in 2012, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Juris Doctorate, respectively.
A Grand Rapids native, Stephen was born in 1986. After working for R.J. Baker & Associates, PLLC as a law clerk for his final year of law school, Stephen is now of counsel, having confidently passed the bar in 2013.
